Winter holidays in Slovenia

Finally, the winter holidays have started!!! First day we have spent with friends in Bohinj, climbing, playing, hiking around the Bohinj Lake, riding Goldhorn and throwing stones into the lake. There was also time to rest in the hammock and read Miki Muster :). And there was time to see an old church St. John the Baptist and discuss about the typical alpine architecture.

The next day we have spent in Kranjska gora, cross-country skiing. We have crossed the border to Italy and meet Alpe Adria Trail signs on our way. Time for a drink – hot tea with lemon and honey, nothing better then this. And there we go again, another circle, this time towards Planica ski jump.

The last 3 days of winter holidays we have spent in Vogel ski resort – the best one in Slovenia with the most amazing views on Triglav, Julian Alps. Sleeping at Sirarna Zadnji Vogel, we were just a step away from the ski slopes. Children love Vogel, since there is a lot of opportunities to ski off piste. They also got a chance to spent some hours with ski instructor and they were eager to learn. Amazing days in great company of friends.
